This project will study deep earth mineralogy, history and activity of the earth from viewpoints of high-pressure and high-temperature experiments and computer simulation. Global young researchers will be developed.

Conserving and recovering of biodiversity and healthy ecosystems are widely recognized as important targets for achieving sustainability of human societies, in which establishing a good mutualistic relationship between human and nature has been increasingly prioritized. Towards this goal, we focus on biodiverstity changes in Asia where the most serious biodiversity loss in the world is going on.
