Visit by President Eisgruber of the Princeton University

On Tuesday, 29 October, President Hamada, Executive Vice President Matsumoto, Executive Vice President Egawa and Vice President Haneda welcomed President Eisgruber of the Princeton University at Kaitoku-kan.
President Eisgruber took office as the 20th President of Princeton University on July 1 this year and our university is the first destination of his trip to Asia. Prof.Yoshida (School of Science), Prof.Sato (Institute of Advanced Studies on Asia) and Prof. Sekiya (School of Engineering) joined the meeting to discuss ongoing collaboration under the UTokyo/Princeton Strategic Partnership Teaching and Research Collaboration. Subsequently, President Eisgruber enjoyed tea ceremony prepared and performed by the UTokyo Tea Ceremony Club.
