The 9th Forum for Japanese and Chinese University Presidents was held at Kyushu University

On October 29th, 2015, the 9th Forum for Japanese and Chinese University Presidents was held at Kyushu University, and Executive Vice President Furuya participated on behalf of President Gonokami.
Under the theme of the Forum "The Internationalization of Chinese and Japanese Universities in the Global Era," the presidents and other representatives shared issues and deepened understanding though discussions.
At the same time, the 2nd Japan-China Student Workshop was held, where students representing each university attended.
"The Fukuoka Declaration on the Internationalization of Japanese and Chinese Universities in the Global Era," which declared concrete actions to promote cooperation and collaborations between Chinese and Japanese universities, was adopted at the Forum.
The 10th Forum for Japanese and Chinese University Presidents will be held at Northeastern University in China in 2017.
