Delegation from Stockholm University Visits UTokyo (Division of International Affairs)

A delegation from Stockholm University headed by Vice-Chancellor Astrid Söderbergh Widding visited UTokyo on February 22nd, 2017 and met with President Gonokami, Executive Vice President Haneda, et. al. Stockholm University is one of the group of partner universities in Stockholm with which UTokyo is promoting the strategic partnership project, working alongside the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Karolinska Institute on interdisciplinary and cross-department research/educational activities. During the meeting, they discussed specific plans for the future. On Friday, 24 February, Vice-Chancellor Söderbergh Widding and others participated in a tour of the Kashiwa Campus and visited the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, the Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute (AORI) and the Institute of Gerontology (IOG), for discussion about future collaborations and a visit of their facilities and project works.
