The University of Tokyo and the Wigner Research Centre for Physics of the Hungarian Academy of Science Sign Intellectual Property Cooperation Agreement

On Monday, 9 May 2016, a signing ceremony between the University of Tokyo and the Wigner Research Centre for Physics of the Hungarian Academy of Science on Intellectual Property Cooperation was held at the Embassy of Hungary in Japan.
At the International Muography Innovation Making Symposium (IM2N, MUOGRAPHERS 2016) held prior to the signing ceremony, speakers summarized the exhibition “Perspective Drawing in the 21st Century” that took place at the JP Tower Museum INTERMEDIATHEQUE near Tokyo Station from 15 December 2015 to 8 May 2016, and introduced the mission and activities of the Wigner Research Centre for Physics of the Hungarian Academy of Science, university-corporate joint initiatives at the University of Tokyo and the history of and recent developments in muography research.
The University of Tokyo's Earthquake Research Institute and the Wigner Research Centre first signed an Agreement on Academic Exchange on 8 June 2015. This new agreement will further facilitate the development of new markets both in Hungary and Japan.
