The UTokyo Softball Team Wins 7-Univ. in a Complete Sweep, with Overall Championship in Sight!

A softball competition was held as part of the Seven Universities Athletic Meet (7-Univ.) at the UTokyo Kemigawa Ground from September 6 to 7, 2016.

The UTokyo softball team displayed overwhelming strength and won the championship without losing a single game.

As a result, 10 points given for the softball competition have been awarded to UTokyo. UTokyo maintains its first place position, and Osaka University is in second place.

Now, UTokyo has an 8.5-point lead over second-place Osaka University, with only two competitions remaining. If UTokyo wins the auto racing competition up next, it will become the overall victor because the difference in points between UTokyo and Osaka University would be greater than 10 points.
