Singing ceremony of agreement between

and Tokyo University (12/24-12/31) |

Institute of Advanced Industrial
Science and Technology and Tokyo
University signed an agreement
on December 22nd to promote collaboration/cooperation
between the two institutions, utilizing
the research and development abilities
and manpower for comprehensively.

and with the city of Kashiwa, Chiba

held on Thursday, December 2nd
at the Hongo campus main auditorium
(Yasuda auditorium). The lectures
were given by Professor Motoichi
Otsu from School of Engineering
(right), and by Professor Yasushi
Miyashita from the Graduate School
of Medicine (left) who received
the Medal with Purple Ribbon this
fiscal year. |

University Homecoming Day’ for
the fiscal year 2004
Tokyo University Homecoming Day
took place on Saturday, November
13th at the Hongo and Komaba campuses.
Until now, the Tokyo University
Alumni Association hosted the event
twice, but to mark the first year
the university became an educational
foundation, the university decided
to host the event. |

Shokumon Award' took place at Takeda
Building on Tuesday, November 2nd.
This award is given to individuals,
corporations or organizations,
endowed chairs, endowed research
departments who have greatly contributed
to the activities of this university
(excludes university staff and
students currently at the university).
