Global Sustainability and the Human Environment

Purport: Science’s treatment of environmental problems is in the process of progressing from the stage of denouncing destruction of the environment to that of actively proposing its regeneration. Here we would like to propose the construction of sustainable regenerative science in the manmade environment such as manufactured product clusters, architectural clusters, and the urban environment, along with considering new roles for science to contribute to the protection and regeneration of natural environment, including fields like climate systems, marine ecology, and land ecology.
