| Purport: Through the recent progress of life science, the fields of medical and life sciences have been advancing rapidly. In particular, the structure ofthe human genome has been clarified, and this field is coming to face new developments. Here we want to discuss recent advancements in molecular medical science centered on neurobiology, immunology, metabolic physiology, and oncology and have debates on the outlook for the medical and life sciences in the 21st century.
