It is no exaggeration to say that global warming in recent years is a climate crisis. Developed countries are starting to commence serious efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Therefore, we aimed to build a society that can carry out industrial activities while reducing carbon dioxide, and set several goals as follows. - Large scale (large enough to help reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere); - Has economic balance (economic sustainability drives a sustainable society); - Can be put to practical use in a short amount of time (it is said that the climate crisis has reached a tipping point, with very little time left for corrective action); - Risk prevention and diversification of food, chemical raw materials and energy sources (in the case of Japan). In order to achieve these goals, we succeeded in visualizing the following grand design. We will create a great scale cultivation of microalgae using deep ocean water near the desert coast (Peru is the first candidate country) and build a "biomass complex" to replace the petroleum complex. This complex consists of biomass-derived chemical raw material production, smart agri-industry, smart aqua-industry and so on. Each unit is organically integrated, sustainable and creates economic merit, with carbon neutrality also achieved. Currently, we are seeking collaborators and participants from various fields toward realizing this project.
