Short Report
The study in Japan seminar at Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur was organized by the Embassy of Japan in Nepal where the program was scheduled for humanities students. Prof. Dr. Khadga KC welcomed all the participants (around 15) and also gave the opening remarks as well as introduced all the delegates.
Dr. Yuriko Akiyama from the Japanese Embassy in Nepal presented about the MEXT Scholarship. Dr. Goit Chandra Shekhar, Saitama University, then gave a presention about his university which was followed by Mr. Khem Gyanwali, representative of UTokyo introduced the University of Tokyo while Dr. Hom Nath Chalise and Mr. Ram Prasad Bhandai also spoke about the higher education opportunities in Japan.
