Global Network Project in Southwest Asia
About Sri Lanka Office
The University of Tokyo was appointed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) for the “Study in Japan Global Network Project (Priority Area for Application: Southwest Asia)” in 2019. Following this, our activities have been expanded to cover the entire Southwest Asia region, We have decided to establish a new office in Colombo, Sri Lanka as the second base in the region to implement initiatives to attract excellent Sri Lankan students. The opening ceremony of the University of Tokyo Sri Lanka Office was held in January 2020.
