Q: Can I apply for Mitaka International Hall of Residence before I am accepted to the University of Tokyo?
A: No. Only those who are enrolled at UTokyo or who have been successful in an application to UTokyo are eligible to apply for this accommodations.

Q: Can I enter UTokyo accommodations earlier than the date indicated in the "Notification of Admission"?
A: No.

Q: Do I need to have a guarantor when staying in the International Lodge?
A: No.

Q: Can I enter UTokyo accommodations earlier than the date indicated in the "Notification of Admission"?
A: No. Rooms will be cleaned before the permitted date, so you are not allowed to arrive in the Hall of Residence earlier than that date.

Q: Can I change my room after moving in to UTokyo accommodations?
A: No.

Q: Is there any car parking or bicycle parking?
A: There is no car parking, but bicycle parking is available.

Q: What is the bed size? Is there a mattress with the bed?
A: The Hall provides a single bed whose size is 98cm wide and 205cm long. Because there is no mattress, please purchase one together with other bedclothes after you move in.

Q: Is there a curfew?
A: There is no curfew, but please do not make a lot of noise or speak loudly. Such acts can annoy your neighbors, especially at night.
