English Editing Support Service (Kashiwa)

KIO provides English editing support services for the students and staff of the University of Tokyo Kashiwa Campus. Based on the evaluation results of the questionnaire by the user of this service, we will help you select an editing company in accordance to your requirements. Since we can ask some editing companies for the estimates, you can compare them. Please see the below service.

Service

We will ask an (some) editing company(ies) for an estimate, delivery time, and other things you request. Then we will place an order, and receive the receipt and your corrected manuscript, and send them to you.
Please note that you have to make a final decision on which editing company to ask for editing and have to pay your own editing fee.

Procedure

Flowchart
1. Please fill out the online application form and upload your manuscript and any supporting files (figures, tables, etc.)

2. KIO will confirm your requests and contact an (some) editing company(ies). Then KIO will send an e-mail containing the assignment details to you.

3. Please conform the assignment details and choose one editing company. Then please send KIO an official order mail.

4. KIO will confirm the official order mail from you. -> KIO will send the order form to the company. -> Edited by the company -> After receiving the corrected manuscript, KIO will send it to you with the receipt and the questionnaire.

5. Please confirm your corrected manuscript. -> Payment procedure. -> Please answer the questionnaire by sending mail to KIO.

Application

1. Please apply from Online Application form.

2. Please submit the manuscript and any supporting files. The URL for uploading documents will be shown in the application form and in the email which is automatically generated after you apply.
*Please include your name in the name of submitted file(s).
*The manuscript should be prepared in MS-Word or TeX.
