Students and Researchers.
Mitaka International Hall of Residence provides accommodations for domestic students who are enrolled in the University of Tokyo College of Arts and Sciences, and international students who are enrolled in the undergraduate senior division program or graduate program. The Hall provides an opportunity for domestic and international students to meet each other. Seventy percent of residents are domestic students, and thirty percent are international students.

* This "Monthly reserve" is an amount to cover charges related to cleaning residents' room after their leaving divided by the standard period of stay (24 months).
Residents who are permitted in advance to live in this residence shorter than 2 years shall also pay the same amount of monthly reserve each month. The balance shall be paid in a lump when they move in. Residents who make midterm cancellation shall pay the remaining amount of monthly reserve in a lump when they move out. Residents shall pay thorough a bank transfer.
Residents who stay longer than two years shall receive a refund when they move out.

International students: Applications are accepted twice a year - in January for applicants moving into the Hall in April, and in June for applicants moving into the Hall in September.
