Ms. Ankita has studied five-and-a-half years in the doctoral course of the Department of Bioengineering, School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, using the Panasonic Scholarship Program. In Japan, she is a representative of India; at the same time, she was seen as a representative of Japan when participating in an international workshop. It made her think the University of Tokyo is a unique place that provides global experiences. Recently she conducted a Japanese language workshop in India to bridge the two nations. She wishes that this initiative will connect academia and industry more seamlessly.
