“Benkyokai 2025” was held by UTokyo Alumni Association of Nepal (UTAAN)

On March 23, 2025, the UTokyo Alumni Association of Nepal (UTAAN) organized its “Benkyokai 2025”, which literally it means “study seminar” in Japanese, at the Universal Engineering and Science College in Kathmandu. UTAAN was established in 2016 with the aim of strengthening the alumni network in Nepal and its contribution to the development of society in Nepal based on the members’ experience at UTokyo and current work. This Benkyokai meeting brought together 31 alumni, of which three alumni gave presentations on their research and studies in Japan. The graduates listened attentively to the presentations and actively participated in a questions and answers session. The UTokyo India Office will continue to keep actively working together with the alumni associations in South Asia in the future.
