Lecture on Study in Japan during the Sanmoku-kai

On April 24, 2025, Dr. Satsuki Shioyama, a Project Research Associate of GlobE (Center for Global Education) at UTokyo, gave a presentation on the challenges for Study in Japan from South Asia during the Sanmoku-kai meeting held at the Embassy of Japan in Delhi, India.
Taking the meeting’s overall theme of “Activating Human Resource Exchanges”, the Embassy of Japan in India gave a talk on the “Current Situation of Japanese-Indian Students”, the Japan Foundation gave a lecture on “Current Situation and Efforts in Japanese Language Education”, and the University of Tokyo gave a talk on the “Activities of the University of Tokyo India Office and Proposals for Promotion of Human Resources Exchange through Cooperation among Industry, Government and Academia”.
The audience, mainly from Japanese companies in India, showed great interest in the issues of career development of Indian students in Japan.
UTokyo will continue to actively share information on Study in Japan at the Sanmoku-kai.
