Courtesy visit to the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka

Professor Kaori Hayashi, Executive Vice President, paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka on 4 September 2025 during her visit to Sri Lanka.
She met with Mr. Naoki Kamoshida, Minister/Deputy Head of Mission; Ms. Eguchi, First Secretary (Head of Public Relations & Cultural Exchange Section); and Ms. Kawamoto, Third Secretary (Cultural Exchange Section) and exchanged views on expanding opportunities for Sri Lankan students to study in Japan, further promoting mutual academic and cultural exchanges and the difference of Sri Lanka compared to other countries in the South Asia region.
