In what way has your impression of Hamamatsu City or Japan changed since coming here?

I was scaring before coming to Japan and Japanese people, because I didn’t know the Japanese language and were not aware with the Japan rules and regulations, so I was thinking that it would be a problem for me to survive in Japan. But after coming to Japan I realized that no other country can be like Japan and I am fortunate to get it. Most important thing about Japan is its people, they are well behaved, neat and clean and helping nature.

What attracted you to choose Shizuoka University as a place to study?

Shizuoka University is well renounced University and having good ranking among different Universities. I had found that a niche scientific research is going on and specially in Nanovision Technology department which attracted my attention towards it.

In what way did you adjust yourself to Japanese culture?

Here, everything is good enough and there is no such problem of adjustment and I got adjusted very well. But, one thing that make me curious is Japanese food, still I am not getting used to with Japanese food. Till now I am eating our Indian food. But, I am attending parties and functions with my friends and trying to getting used to with Japanese food and Japanese culture.

Please give a message to students or researchers in your home country who may be thinking about studying in Japan?

I would like to acknowledge my home country for giving me such a great opportunity to study in Japan. And I would like to encourage my juniors to study in Japan.
For students who wants to study in Japan, I can say that study is the important part of our life and we must have to take care before taking any step for choosing any country for our higher studies. Japan is the only country that provides you enthusiasm in your study, security of life, security of Job. So, I would like to strongly recommend new students to choose Japan for their higher studies.
