Please give a short introduction of yourself.

I am a 28-year-old student from India. I was working for a Consulting company for over 5 years prior to joining IUJ. I love meeting new people and understand new ways of doing businesses.

What is your favorite thing about Minami-Uonuma City?

I love the location and cuisine of this place. In fact, it is perfect for an educational institution where students can focus and study without getting bothered by the outside world. The river which flows by the city from Hakkai-San is scenic and can't be explained without experiencing.

In what way has your impression of Minami-Uonuma City or Japan changed since coming here?

Well, initially I thought it to be more deserted with very few people and establishments around. But now, it has changed after I got ample time to understand the city and the culture. Events in IUJ made us even closer to the city.

What attracted you to choose International University of Japan (IUJ) as a place to study?

Firstly, it was mentioned to me by my Japanese client with whom I was working. Secondly, when I contacted Indian alumni from IUJ, I got a positive response. IUJ with its great faculty, scholarship programs and support for internships and jobs attracted me.

In what way did you adjust yourself to Japanese culture?

To be honest, it was quite gradual and happened over time. But, it was never a challenge as in IUJ, everything was so international in nature.

Please give a message to students or researchers in your home country who may be thinking about studying in Japan?

If you have to see a newer perspective of the 3rd largest economy of the world and would love to be a part of the Japan Going Global trend, then do head towards Japan and experience Japan education.
