I am Dr. Ranipet Hafeez Basha, born at Hyderabad City in India.
Please give a simple description of your work at your workplace/ laboratory.
Working as Associate Professor at Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
In what way has your impression of Tokyo or Japan changed since coming here?
I had very limited knowledge about Japan. After coming, I have got to understand much better the Japanese way of life. I am highly impressed by Japan, through the various experiences I have had here.
What attracted you to choose Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology as a place to pursue your career?
The directors of the college are retired professors from National Laboratories.

How do you like life in Japan and Japanese culture?
I admire the culture of Japan. My life at Japan was easy because of the kind and polite nature of Japanese.
Please give a message to students or researchers in your home country who may be contemplating studying in Japan?
Most of the Indian students prefer to study abroad in English speaking countries like USA, UK, Australia, etc. But there are lot of opportunities in other countries especially Japan. My message to students will be: Japan is World’s No 1 in technology, it’s educational standards are high, and have research attitude.
