Discussion with members of the University of Tokyo Sri Lanka Alumni Association

On 4 September 2025, Professor Kaori Hayashi, Executive Vice President, met with members of the University of Tokyo Sri Lanka Alumni Association over dinner in Colombo during her visit to Sri Lanka.

Prof. Hayashi met with Senior Lecturer Indika Rohan Palihakkara (University of Ruhuna・PhD - 2016 Graduate School of Agriculture & Life Sciences, UTokyo・President, UTokyo Sri Lanka Alumni Association) and eight other graduates of UTokyo and exchanged views of their experiences while at UTokyo and Japan as well as their activities following their return to Sri Lanka. It is hoped that the links with the alumni will be maintained through such meetings whenever executives, faculties and members of UTokyo visit Sri Lanka.
