Kashiwanoha LodgeKashiwanoha Lodge provides accommodations for foreign researchers engaged in education or research at UTokyo, and for their family members. Some rooms of the apartment for UTokyo employees are temporarily open to foreign researchers until new accommodations around Kashiwa campus is completed.

Facilities & Equipment

Construction: 1998

Living room:
table, chair ×4, sofa, television, and telephone equipped with a fax

Kitchen:
refrigerator, stove, rice cooker, microwave, toaster, electric hot-water pot, plates and other kitchen goods

Bed room:
bed ×2, and bedclothing set (pillow, pillow case, bed sheet, blanket, blanket cover) ×2

Study room:
desk, chair, and table lamp

washing machine, dryer, toilet bowl brush, clothes iron, ironing board, and vacuum cleaner

Residents may be allowed to pay by the day if they stay less than one month.

※¹ After you have vacated your room, we will clean it in preparation for the next resident.

 

Water, Electricity & Gas Rates: 15,000 yen (monthly), 500 yen (daily)
Residents may be allowed to pay by the day if they stay less than one month.

 

Phone Rates: monthly basic rate + usage charge (Residents need to arrange a contract with a company themselves.)

Internet Access Fees: monthly basic rate (Residents need to arrange a contract with a company themselves.)
