Visit of Mr. Alexander Povalko, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation

On Tuesday, September 10, Vice Minister Povalko of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation visited our university to meet with Professor Noboru Harata, Dean of the School of Engineering to exchange views and opinions on current developments and future prospects of research and educational collaborations between UTokyo and the Russian Federation. Further active cooperation is expected in the near future.
In addition to the meeting with the Dean, Vice Minister Povalko visited the laboratories of Professors Mamoru Mitsuishi (Robotics) and Yuichi Tei (Nano-biotechnology).
