Announcement of 2013 entrance examination results

The results of the entrance examination for the University of Tokyo were announced on Sunday, March 10. In total, 3,009 applicants passed the examination. In a great warm day, the drive before the Institute of Social Science and Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies was filled with applicants and their families eagerly checking the notice boards for their applicant numbers. Many members of the media were present, as were university athletic associations recruiting new members.

The secondary selection entrance examination was held on Tuesday, March 13.
