The Historic Rally Abroad Project 2016 "TeamMUSASHI" Achieves Success in Targa Bambina

The Historic Rally Abroad Project 2016 "TeamMUSASHI" participated in the car rally Targa Bambina in New Zealand on March 5th and 6th, winning First Place in Category 0. Their two cars (Honda SB1 Civic 1200RS, 1975 models) both ran the whole distance and won Targa Spirit Prizes. The details are as below.

This “Historic Rally Abroad Project” was established as a new way to combine the spirit of craftsmanship and international education. This unique project is also an official University class. For this project, students work hard to restore old vehicles, conduct complex shipment procedures, support their machines during the rallying event, and carry out other related activities. They will do whatever they need to participate in the Rally Tournament. Through unique experiences in the world of global motorsports, they all are very willing to train themselves, their sense of engineering, their manners in business society, and their own international viewpoint! Education should not be limited to the confines of a university campus.

They restored five cars, and two of them participated in Targa Bambina. The others will participate in Targa Tasmania in April in Australia. TeamMUSASHI will push on towards the next victory in Targa Tasmania.
