New PEAK and GPEAK Students Begin Their Journey on Komaba Campus

Twenty-three PEAK and fifteen GPEAK students have newly arrived at Komaba and commenced their campus life as University of Tokyo students. These students have been admitted through a highly selective admission process.
On the afternoon of September 22, 2017, the PEAK/GPEAK Welcome Ceremony was held by the College of Arts and Sciences at Komaba Campus, following the University’s Matriculation Ceremony at Hongo Campus in the morning. There were as many as 110 participants gathered to celebrate the beginning of PEAK and GPEAK students’ life at the University.

PEAK is a 4-year undergraduate degree program and offers two tracks: “Japan in East Asia” and “Environmental Sciences.” GPEAK is a graduate program in either “Global Society (GSP)” or “Environmental Sciences (GPES).”
