【Nobel Week, Day 2】 Arrival in Stockholm

Today, Professor Kajita and his wife arrived at Stockholm Arlanda Airport to take part in the Nobel Award Ceremony on Thursday, December 10th and the other official events held during the Nobel Week. They were met at the airport by Professor Göran K. Hansson, Secretary General of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, and Nobel Attaché Henrik Grudemo, who will accompany Professor Kajita to the official events throughout the Nobel Week.
Winter is supposed to be warm this year in Sweden, and Stockholm still has not seen any snowfall. Professor Kajita arrived to a windy and rainy Stockholm today, with the temperature at a chilly 6 degrees Celsius. Although this is a "warm" winter, it still gets piercingly cold at night.
