UTokyo's Basketball Teams Take 7th Place

Date of activity: June 20, 2016 - June 25, 2016

A basketball competition was held as part of the Seven Universities Athletic Meet (7-Univ.) at the BumB Tokyo Sports Culture Center and the UTokyo Komaba Second Gymnasium from June 20 to 25, 2016.

The UTokyo men's and women's basketball teams put forth a valiant effort; however, they both placed 7^th in the competition.

As a result, each 1 point given for the men's and women's basketball competition has been awarded to UTokyo.

The next competitions were as follows:

 ●Men's Lacrosse: June 24 - 26 at Gotenshita Ground (UTokyo)
 ●Shorinji Kenpo: June 26 at Komaba Second Gymnasium (UTokyo)
 ●Tennis: June 30 - July 3 at Omiya Kenpo Ground and Kemigawa Ground (UTokyo)

Many summer competitions started at around the same time, and the results for these competitions will be available soon.

Also, the opening ceremony of 7-Univ. was held on July 2 (15:00) at Yasuda Auditorium.
