UTokyo's Baseball Team Wins at the Seven Universities Athletic Meet for the Third Consecutive Year!

A baseball competition was held as part of Seven Universities Athletic Meet (7-Univ.) at UTokyo Stadium in Hongo from August 11 to 13, 2016.

The UTokyo baseball team won the championship for the third consecutive year!

As a result, the 10 points given for the baseball competition have been awarded to UTokyo. UTokyo is putting in renewed effort during the second half of the 7-Univ. competition to achieve the overall victory.

We were under a lot of pressure since Tokyo was the competition's location and we had won last year and the year before. We are very happy that we won the championship!

Time has flown quickly, and there is only one month left in the 7-Univ. competition. Currently, UTokyo is in a dead heat with Osaka University for the top overall ranking. We hope to the shake them off using our home advantage.
