The 2015 University of Tokyo Autumn Semester Diploma Presentation and Commencement Ceremony was held at Yasuda Auditorium on Friday, September 25, 2015.
The ceremony began at 10:00 AM amidst a solemn and majestic atmosphere as the executive vice presidents, deans of the Graduate Schools and directors of the Institutes ascended to the stage in their academic gowns.
Following President Makoto Gonokami’s presentation of diplomas to the students representing the graduating classes of each Graduate School, the president addressed the audience. The student representing the entire graduating class then gave a speech in response to the president’s address, after which the ceremony was concluded.
