Doctoral Student Support Project (SPRING GX): Urgent call for students Deadline: March 25, 2024 (Mon) 15:00

The University of Tokyo “Fostering Advanced Human Resources to Lead Green Transformation (GX)” project (Project officer: Professor Shin-ichi Ohkoshi) supported by Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by Next Generation (SPRING) of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) is a program in which 1,200 doctoral students (including 4-year doctoral students) participate from all schools of the University of Tokyo. The new SPRING GX will start in April 2024, and we are now accepting applications in conjunction with the re-opening of the JST.
We are now urgently recruiting approx. 180 project students who are enrolled in doctoral programs. (Please note that students enrolled in WINGS are not eligible to apply for this additional recruitment.)
 
Applicants:
Students who entered the doctoral program between FY2021 (Autumn) and FY2023 (Spring & Autumn)
Students who entered the 4-year doctoral program between FY2020 (Autumn) and FY2023 (Spring & Autumn)
 
 
Number of students to be admitted:
Around 180 students
 
Application period:
