We are holding an open campus event at the Hongo Area Campus on August 5th and 6th. This event is geared mainly towards high school students, enabling participants to learn more about and experience for themselves the education and research at the University of Tokyo. Some of the events are trial lessons, including lessons from the PEAK (Programs in English at Komaba) program:

Introduction to PEAK and Mini Trial Lessons

8/5 14:00-15:00 Faculty of Engineering Building No. 8 (Room No. 83) Participants welcomed on a first-come, first-served basis
8/6 15:30-16:30 Faculty of Engineering Building No. 2 (Room No. 213) Participants welcomed on a first-come, first-served basis

In addition to trial lessons, a variety of events, such as information sessions, exhibitions, experiment demonstrations and individual consultations, will be available from the Faculties of Agriculture, Economics, Education, Engineering, Law, Letters, Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Science, as well as the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies and other Institutes (the Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia, the Historiographical Institute, the Earthquake Research Institute and the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences). For those who want to know about the University of Tokyo and its admission processes, general information sessions will be offered. Also available are information sessions about more specific themes, such as extracurricular activities and universal access. Finally, campus tours will be offered for free on a first-come, first-served basis (reservations will start from 10:00 AM for tours in the morning and from 12:00 for tours in the afternoon in front of the Ito International Conference Center).

Note that as a general rule the events above are offered mostly in Japanese, excluding the Introduction to PEAK and Mini Trial Lessons event.
