On April 1, 2024, the University of Tokyo (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President: FUJII Teruo) established the Center for Coproduction of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (IncluDE). This coming September 22, IncluDE will hold a kick-off symposium celebrating one and a half years since our opening. While DEI is under pressure in some parts of the world, this kick-off symposium, titled “Creating DEI Together,” will provide an opportunity for participants to reconfirm the importance of IncluDE’s principles of Coproduction, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
