| Research outline |
I conduct research aimed at developing mitigation and adaptation strategies by assessing the current and projecting future impacts of global warming, ocean acidification, and ocean deoxygenation, phenomena considered to be caused by excessive anthropogenic CO₂ emissions, on marine ecosystems and society. As part of efforts to support both mitigation and regional adaptation, I am also engaged in initiatives to promote the appropriate promotion of renewable energy, including offshore wind power. |
