Biography He received his Ph.D from the Graduate School of Education, Hokkaido University. He was an associate professor at Institute for Education and Student Support, Ehime University, and a professor at Institute of Transdisciplinary Graduate Degree Program. He was a visiting scholar at Portland State University and a visiting research fellow at Kings College London. He specializes in academic development for higher education.

Research outline He is engaged in the practice of education and learning support at the micro (classroom), middle (curriculum/educational program), and macro (organization/institution) levels for the learning and growth of students, faculty and staff. After analyzing the needs of the field, I work with clients to solve problems based on my experience and expertise as a faculty developer.
