The University of Tokyo have decided to reduce the level of The University of Tokyo Activity Restrictions Index for Preventing the Spread of Novel Coronavirus (first announced on April 3, 2020) to "Level B " to "Level A " on October 4, 2021.

Level S Regular operations in principle.
However, If childcare at home is possible, refrain from going to the UTokyo Day Nursery.

Level C
Level D Childcare at home in principle.
However, Fundamental childcare time
 (8:30-18:30or9:00-19:00) is available only if you need
Childcare due to education and research activities.
Level E Suspension of operations
