October 1, 2019

New PEAK and GPEAK students arrived at the Komaba Campus and began their campus life at the University of Tokyo. The 37 undergraduate and 22 graduate students, admitted to the university through a highly selective process, thus embarked on their journey to pursue studies at UTokyo.

The PEAK/GPEAK Welcome Ceremony was held by the College of Arts and Sciences at the Komaba Campus in the afternoon of September 20, 2019, following the university’s Matriculation Ceremony on the Hongo Campus in the morning. Close to 130 participants gathered to celebrate the start of the PEAK and GPEAK students’ life at the university.

Words of welcome presented at the ceremony by Professor Kunihiro Ohta, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, can be viewed at the following link on the college’s website: http://www.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp/eng_site/info/about/message/peakgpeak20190920/
