Abstract
In his talk, Mark Chong will share the key learning outcomes of Singapore Management University’s experiential learning framework “SMU-X” which calls for students to take on real-world challenges by collaborating on projects with corporates, non-profit and government organizations. In addition, he will talk about the challenges and the results of integrating Generative AI into his students’ experiential learning since January 2023.
Speaker Bio
Mark Chong teaches in Singapore Management University’s undergraduate, MBA, and executive development programs. He has been inducted into the SMU Teaching Honour Roll, which is conferred on faculty members who have received three or more university-wide teaching excellence awards. He is a forerunner in integrating Generative AI into students’ learning journeys and outcomes.
