About the New York Office Events of The University of Tokyo (UTokyoNY Events)

To promote UTokyo’s university-wide overseas collaborations in the United States and throughout North America, including fundraising activities in the region, international exchanges of students and researchers, and collaboration with universities and private corporations, UTokyo is expanding activities in cooperation with the nonprofit University of Tokyo New York Office (UTokyoNY), which was established in 2015.
To make more active use of the UTokyoNY office, to form networks among alumni and researchers in the U.S., to foster better understanding of the university and its research activities, and to encourage support of the university’s research, UTokyo is arranging for symposia, seminars, and other events to be held in the U.S., including at the UTokyoNY office, and is assisting with the cost of holding those events.
