Interactive event with a graduate of UTokyo

On August 27th, 2020, we will hold an interactive event through Zoom, inviting Prof. Mari Yoshihara, a UTokyo graduate currently working as a professor of American Studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
The event is titled “When I was 19. ~The Universe of the University~”. Prof. Yoshihara will share her experiences when she was a student at UTokyo and her personal history that led to her academic career as a specialist in American culture. After her talk, we will have a small group discussion, followed by a question and answer session.
This is a great opportunity for you to think about your future as well as to learn what it is like to work in academia.
Through participating in this event, you can submit an activity report on the category 4 “international activities” of the Go Global Gateway program.
