On October 16th, 2020, we will hold an interactive event through Zoom. We will be inviting Dr. Shuji Kitahara, who is currently a Senior Lecturer and deputy director of its International office at Tokyo Women’s Medical University. He is planning and organizing science forums around the world to enhance the presence of Japanese science and technology.

The event is titled “When I was 19. ~To enhance the presence of Japanese science and technology~.” Dr. Kitahara will share his experiences from the time when he was an undergraduate student, what led him to feel the presence of Japanese science and technology is declining, and what motivated him to be a doctoral student for the second time. After his talk, we will have a small group discussion, followed by a question and answer session.
This will be a great opportunity for you to learn from a scholar who has studied various academic fields and worked in many parts of the world.
Through participating in this event, you can submit an activity report on the category 4 “international activities” of the Go Global Gateway program.
