On November 11th, 2020, we will hold an interactive event through Zoom, inviting Ms. Kanae Doi, a UTokyo graduate and currently serving as the Director of Human Rights Watch, Japan.

The event is titled “When I was 19. ~From UTokyo to Human Rights Watch~.” Ms. Doi will share her stories from the time when she was studying at UTokyo as an undergraduate student to how she started working for Human Rights Watch, including what her current job entails. After her talk, we will have a small group discussion, followed by a question and answer session.
This is a great opportunity for you to think about your future as well as to learn about international human rights.
Through participating in this event, you can submit an activity report on the “international activities” (category 4) of the Go Global Gateway program.
