Please be sure to check the instructions below to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19 within the UTokyo accommodations so as to protect the safety and well-being of all residents.

 "For the Prevention of the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus Disease 
   (COVID-19) after May 8, 2023



Residents are recommended to wear a face mask and to perform the basic protective measures below while spending their communal life at the dorm.

・Wash/sanitize hands after touching places frequently touched by others.
・Avoid the 3Cs (closed spaces, crowded places and close-contact settings).
・Maintain good ventilation.

 

Special Attention for those with Preexisting Health Conditions
  ※
People at higher risk for severe COVID 19 are especially recommended to wear highly
  protective masks that provide a higher level of filtration for their own protection.

   We encourage you to share your health conditions with the Housing Office

 if you are to have any of the following preexisting health conditions which
   can pose a
 higher risk for severe illness when infected with COVID-19.

 

People having diabetes, serious heart conditions, chronic lung disease or severe asthma

People with chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis

People who are immunocompromised or receiving cancer treatment
