As you are all aware, the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is spreading at a global level. Hence, we would like to ask for the cooperation of all residents to strictly follow the instructions below to prevent the spread of the disease within the UTokyo accommodationos so as to protect the safety and well-being of all our residents.

■FOR ALL RESIDENTS
Always wear a face mask, wash & sanitize your hands, avoid the 3Cs (closed spaces, crowded places and close-contact settings) and maintain good ventilation within the dorm.
In addiition, please be sure to treat others with respect and consideration in the communal life at the residence at all times.

"INSTRUCTIONS ON YOUR RETURN TO THE LODGE / MIV For those temporarily leaving Japan during the COVID-19 pandemic"
★Special Attention for those with Preexisting Health Conditions
We would encourage you to share your health conditions with Housing Office
if you have any of the following preexisting health conditions which can pose
a higher risk for severe illness when infected with COVID-19.
・People having diabetes, serious heart conditions, chronic lung disease or severe asthma
・People with chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis
・People who are immunocompromised or receiving cancer treatment
■FOR NEWLY ARRIVING STUDENTS
Please refer to the notices below regarding your arrival and move-in to the UTokyo accommodations.
▶For the Delay in Your Arrival
Currently, all rooms will be held for a period of 3 months from the starting
date of your permitted term of residence for any delays caused by the bor-
der restrictions, etc. related to the COVID-19 pandemic. (Please note that
there will be no change made in the final date of your tenancy in this case.)
If you are to expect any delay in your arrival in Japan, please be sure
to notify the UTokyo accommodation office you are to stay at along with
your room number and always keep them updated with your arrival
information.
If there is to be any change made in your term of enrollment at
UTokyo or if you would like to ask for a modification of your current
permitted term of stay, please be sure to notify the UTokyo Housing
Office through your affiliated faculty/department by email along with
your permit and room number right away.

Use this sheet to take record of your physical condition.
・14-day record required before arrival in Japan for Int. Students & Int. Researchers alike
・14-day record required for Int. Researchers for their self-quarantine period at the UTokyo
accommodation.
★Move-In Health Check Sheet (For International Researchers)
Residents will all need to fill out this sheet and submit it on the date of their move-in
to the UTokyo accommmodation office. Thermometer needed to take your temperature.
