Biography |
He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Advanced Energy and the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where he has led developments of micro-propulsion systems. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor in ISAS at JAXA, responsible for Hayabusa-1 ion engine operation and the capsule retrieval. He received a B.S. from Keio University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo. He was awarded the International Electric Propulsion Conference Best Paper Award (2015). |
