| Biography |
A distinguished computer scientist, he is currently a Professor at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology at the University of Tokyo. He began his career at IBM Research - Tokyo in 2004, followed by an assignment in IBM Research Ireland from 2013 to 2015. Starting in 2015, he led global teams at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in New York and the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab. |
