On Friday July 22, 2022, the Go Global Gateway (GGG) program will deliver a special edition of “When I was 19”, a series of lectures for the program registrants.

The event is associated with an online summer program jointly hosted by the University of Tokyo and the Asian University for Women (AUW) in August 2022.
This time we will invite Ms. Kathy Matsui* and Ms. Miwa Seki** to give short talks on their career development with the following titles.

・Ms. Kathy Matsui:
"When I was 19: From a flower farm to Japan's financial industry"

"When I was 19: Every cloud has a silver lining if you make one"

They are both co-chairs of the Japan AUW Support Committee and founding members of the MPower Partners. They have had a lot of international experiences especially in the field of finance.
They will talk about what they thought and experienced when they were undergraduate students and how they climbed up their career ladders after graduation from universities.

We welcome undergraduate students who have signed up for the GGG program and postgraduate students enrolled in full-time curricula of UTokyo as well as students who will participate in Asian University for Women Online Summer Program!
Students from AUW*** will also virtually participate in the event via Zoom.
