The University of Tokyo accepts applications from students, who wish to participate in the following program organized by Yonsei University, one of AEARU (Association of East Asian Research Universities). Participants can take courses from diverse areas, especially on Korean studies. See the leaflet below for details of the program content and schedule.
Date: December 27, 2021 - January 14, 2022
Venue: Online
Host: Yonsei University
Target: Students who are enrolled as full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students of UTokyo, Minimum GPA Requirement for Students: Above 2.0/4.0
Capacity: 2 students (In principle, first-come basis)
Deadline: November 24, 2021 (Please contact the International Exchange Group by this date.)
Program Cost: Those who are nominated by UTokyo and selected by Yonsei University will receive a 50% discount for the tuition fee. See the leaflet below and the website for Fees.
Please send an e-mail with a copy of your latest official transcript in English to the International Exchange Group following the instructions below by the above-mentioned deadline.
・Subject: 5th AEARU Winter Abroad Program 2021 at Yonsei University
・Please make sure to include your:［1］name in Japanese (First name and family name in kanji or katakana. Applicable to those who have name in kanji or katakana), ［2］name in English (First name and family name),［3］ affiliation, ［4］university year, ［5］gender, ［6］student ID number ,［7］e-mail address, ［8］nationality, ［9］Date of Birth (dd/mm/yy), ［10］GPA*, ［11］phone (with country code), ［12］confirmation that you agree to provide your personal information ［1］～［11］to Yonsei University via UTokyo at the time of nomination.
*UTokyo does not calculate a GPA. Please make use of the conversion table provided by the Japan-U.S. Educational Commission (Fulbright Japan) to calculate a number for reference (Japanese only - see “STEP4”).

・Before applying, applicants must make sure that the programs do not interfere with their semester courses since no consideration may be made for attending the program and may make study plan on its own responsibility.
・Participants must submit a report (a form will be sent out to the participants later) to the International Exchange Group, after completing program.
