The University of Tokyo attaches great importance to global education and encourages students to study abroad and participate in international activities.
This time, we are pleased to invite you to an international interactive event with 15 students from Rutgers University of the United States, as well as Dr. Haruko Wakabayashi, who is Assistant Teaching Professor at Rutgers’ Asian Languages and Cultures Department, on Tuesday, July 8.
In this event, students of both UTokyo and Rutgers will have lunch together, and then attend a lecture in English titled "War Memories and Museums in Japan" by Professor Yujin Yaguchi, Director of the Center for Global Education at UTokyo, in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided at the luncheon meeting. .
Rutgers University is a state university located in New Jersey, where some of the first Japanese students came to study in the nineteenth century. Please take advantage of this great opportunity for you to get to know them. We look forward to your participation!
